Description
Stunning vintage Paragon fine bone china teacup with a rare black interior and large pansy floral design. The interior features vibrant yellow, pink, and white pansies with soft green and lilac leaves against a glossy black ground, framed by a gold‑trimmed scalloped rim.
The exterior is classic white bone china with a gold band at the foot and an elegant loop handle with gold accents. The violet backstamp reads “Paragon, By Appointment H.M. The Queen & H.M. Queen Mary, Fine Bone China, England, Reg’d,” indicating production during the royal warrant period. A small painted mark near the backstamp appears to be a factory decorator/quality mark.
