Description

Wow! Vintage General Electric Hotpoint Calrod Iron.

Surprisingly heavy for its size!
I did some research on the patent numbers listed on the back and based on the newest patent this iron is from sometime in the early 1930’s

The iron is clean for its age. the chrome shined up very nicely (excuse my reflection in some of the images)

  • Great for using to hold books on a book shelf
  • Paper weight
  • Door stop
  • Laundry or sewing room collectible.
  • Catalog No. 149F75

Should NOT be used as an iron. Does not come with the original cord. (i wouldn’t even attempt to plug it in)

Its really heavy it will ship in a flat rate box.
