Brookfield was one of the earliest U.S. glass companies to produce insulators, operating from the mid-1800s until 1921. These insulators were used on telegraph and telephone lines across America, making them a genuine piece of utility history.
This example is especially attractive thanks to its imperfections — bubbles, flecks, and “snow” in the glass that add unique charm.
